  • (1980) In Gold ein erniedrigter schwarzer Zaun (vier Pfähle), überdeckt mit einem grünen Dreiberg, aus dem eine blaue Lilie wächst, die am Bund rechts mit einer abwärts geneigten grünen Buchel, links mit einer abwärts geneigten grünen Eichel besteckt ist.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 19, 1980.

The arms combine elements of the previous arms (see below) with the fence from the old arms of Pfahlbronn and the mountain in the base of Vordersteinenberg.

The oldest known seal of the town dates from 1550 and shows half a fleur-de-lis with three acorns hanging under it. It probably symbolises the fact that the family Von Rechberg owned one third of the area and the dukes of Württemberg owned two thirds.
