State:Bayern
District (Kreis):Rhön-Grabfeld

Wappen von Aubstadt/Arms (crest) of Aubstadt
Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 9, 1988.

The right half of the shield shows the local Schulturm tower, a typical landmark in the village. The left half shows a beaver, derived from the arms of the Lords of Bibra, who played a major role in the local history. The beaver (Biber) is a canting element.
