BURGFELDEN
State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Zollernalbkreis (until 1973 Balingen)
Incorporated into : 1971 Pfeffingen (1975 Albstadt)
Official blazon
In von Schwarz und Silber im Zinnenschnitt schräglinks geteiltem Schild oben ein rüttelnder silberner Turmfalke.
Origin/meaning
The arms are partly canting, the division line symbolising a castle (Burg). The local castle, Schalksburg, was a possession of the Lords of Zollern, the colours of the arms are derived from the arms of the family.
