ZOBBENITZ
State : Sachsen-Anhalt
District (Kreis) : Börde (until 2007 Ohrekreis) (until 1994 Haldersleben)
Incorporated into : 2010 Calvörde
Verwaltungsgemeinschaft : 2005-2010 Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Oebisfelde-Calvörde (until 2005 Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Calvörde)
Official blazon
(de) In Blau auf goldenem Schildfuß ein schreitendes goldenes Pferd mit schwarzer Mähne, Hufen und Schweif.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 19, 1996.
The horse is derived from the old village seal, which was also used as arms for quite some time. As no colours were used, the colours of the Duchy of Braunschweig, to which the village belonged in medieval times, were chosen.
