In Gold auf einem mit blauem Wellenpfahl belegten grünen Schildfuß zwei aus den Schildflanken kommende schwarze Dreiberge.

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 1949, but not officially granted.

The arms show the Kinzig river in the Kinzig valley and were based on a seal from the middle of the 19th century which showed a river and two mountains.
