German | Geteilt und halbgespalten; oben in einem mit roten Herzen bestreuten goldenen Feld ein aufsteigender blauer, rotgekrönter und bewehrter Löwe; unten vom in Blau eine goldene Weintraube; unten hinten in Silber ein linksgewendeter schwarzer, rotbewehrter Hahnenkopf mit rotem Kamm und roten Lappen.
Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on April 9, 1997. The upper half shows the arms of the Counts of Weimar-Orlamünde, who had an estate in the area.
