Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on April 7, 1970.
The chief shows a piece of Roman pottery, symbolizing the many archaeological finds in the village. The lower half shows the roses for the medieval Counts of Blieskastel, who used a rose bush in their arms and who ruled the village at the time.
