Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 24, 1984.
The area was in medieval times for a long time disputed by the Dukes of Bayern and the Archbishops of Salzburg. This is symbolises by the lion, which is divided into the gold of Bayern and the black of Salzburg.
The wavy base symbolises the Isen river in the municipality. The blue bend in red is taken from the medieval Lords of Dornberg and Leonberg, who originated from the Dornberg castle near Erharting.
