Wappen von Uhingen

Official blazon

  • (de) In Rot ein silberner Wellenbalken und ein rechtes silbernes Obereck.

Origin/meaning

The arms were devised and granted in 1912.

Before that time the local seal showed a duck's claw, which was also used on border stones. The wavy bar is the Fils river that runs through the municipality. The silver quarter is taken from the arms of the Counts of Aichelberg, who ruled the area until 1332 when it became part of Württemberg.
