Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on March 4, 1984.
The eagle with female face (harpy) is taken from the arms of the Von Merlau and Von Felda families, who ruled the village for many years. The small shield shows a hammer and some nails, as historically a large part of the population was employed as nail-maker. It was the main economic activity in Gross-Felda in the 19th century.
