Origin/meaning
The arms are divided into three parts, each part representing one of the former municipalities. Erlbach is represented by a canting alder (Erle) and a wavy bar (brook, -bach). Kirchberg by a canting church (Kirche) of a hill (-berg).
The lower part represents Ursprung and is also canting, it means start or beginning and the fountain represents the origin of the village.
