Origin/meaning
The municipality never had arms. The above village arms were adopted in 2019.
The two black bars are derived from the arms of the Lords of Isenburg-Meerholz, to which the area historically belonged. The horseshoe refers to the agricultural character of the village and the former stage coach station. The rose refers to the former protective hedges around the village.
