Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on March 12, 1989.
The arms show a plough wheel, a symbol for the agricultural character of the area. The stick is a pilgim's staff, the symbol of the local patron saint, St. Rochus.
Literature: Wappenbuch der Verbandsgemeinde Bitburg-Land 1995.
