Origin/meaning
The municipality did not use arms. The arms above are village arms designed in the 1990s (?).
The bend chequy is derived from the arms of the Lords of Horhusen, owner of a castle in the area. The stags head with the cross stand for the patron saint Hubertus and the ears symbolise the agriculture.
