Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 23, 1982.
The arms show elements from the arms of the three municipalities; the chief from Waldmohr, the miner's lamp from Dunzweiler and the lion from Waldmorh. Breitenbach also had a lion and provided the colours. The bordure is typical for a Verbandsgemeinde in Rheinland-Pfalz.
