Wappen von Eßleben-Teutleben/Arms (crest) of Eßleben-Teutleben
Official blazon
German

Gespalten von Silber und Grün mit einem schwarzen Schildfuß, darin ein rot-silberner Balken; vom eine grüne Linde; hinten ein silberner gezinnter Rundturm mit schwarzem Spitzdach.

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 29, 2004.

The linden tree is taken from the old seals of both villages, used since the middle of the 19th century. The tower refers to the former castle of the Lords of Teutleben in the village of Teutleben.

The bar in the base indicates that the village is on the border with Sachsen-Anhalt, the road between the villages passes Sachsen-Anhalt, ans also indicates that the two villages are separated geographically.
