NUSSDORF
State : Rheinland-Pfalz
Urban district (Stadtkreis) : Landau in der Pfalz
Incorporated into : 1972 Landau in der Pfalz
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on June 14, 1844.
The arms show a walnut branch, making it a canting symbol (Nuss is (wal)nut). The branch already appeared on the seal from 1492 and was granted in 1844 in arbitrarily chosen colours.
