- (de) In Grün über blauem Wappenschildfuß eine abgestuft gemauerte silberne Brücke, darüber ein schwarz bewehrter silberner Eisvogel.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on April 14, 2008.
The bridge is the local bridge on the Eider river, which is also a local landmark. The kingfisher is a common bird along the Eider river and symbolises the rich nature. The green colour refers to the ladscape (agriculture and nature), the blue symbolises the Eider and other streams and ponds in the municipality.
