State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Rhein-Neckar Kreis (until 1973 Mannheim)
Incorporated into : 1972 Schriesheim
German | In Rot ein schreitender silberner Ochse, über dessen Rücken eine fünfendige goldene Hirschstange schwebt.
Origin/meaningThe arms were granted in 1910. The oxen in the arms is a canting element, the old name was Orsenbach, or oxen-stream. The deer antler symbolises the Lords of Hirschberg-Strahlenberg, who ruled the village for many years (Hirsch=deer).
