Geviert von Silber und Rot, belegt mit der Standfigur eines blau Geharnischten, der in der Rechten eine Hellebarde hält, die Linke am Griff des Degens; oben links ein T-förmiges silbernes Zeichen. Origin/meaningThe oldest known seal of the town dates from the late 14th century and shows only the quartered shield of the State of Würzburg. From 1512 onwards all the seals show the above arms, only the T was added in the 19th century.
