Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on September 2, 2002. The bend with symbolises the Dumme river. The plough share can refer to the agricultural character of the municipality. It may also refer to the fact that the village became a model agricultural village in 1949 and also had the first machine- and tool deport in the Magdeburg district. The maple leaf in the base refers to the name Langenapel, from Langenappeldorn, where an 'apeldorn' is the local name for a maple tree. Contact and SupportPartners: Your logo here ?
