Origin/meaningThe arms were granted on August 18, 1953. The arms show in the right half some reeds for the village of Bruchweiler, and in the left half a canting bear for Bärenbach. Bruch means a marshy area, hence the reeds. The main colours are silver and blue, which are the colours of the State of Speyer, to which both villages historically belonged.
