Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 15, 1995.

The arms were based on the old seal of the village and designed in the 1930s, but were not granted. The design was rediscovered in 1995 and finally granted.

The meaning is not very clear, it may have been derived from the arms of a local (noble) family.
