Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 15, 1953.
The arms show a cogwheel, symbol for the many industries and (former) watermills in the area. The seven spokes refer to the (then) seven municipalities in the Amt.

- Bischmisheim
- Bliesransbach
- Brebach-Fechingen (1959 Brebach, Fechingen)
- Bübingen
- Güdingen
- Schafbrücke (since 1960)
- Scheidt
