Origin/meaning
The castle in the arms symbolises the former medieval Biangibudiburg castle. The scales are a symbol of justice, symbolising that Bienenbüttel was the seat of a court until the mid 18th century. The fish symbolises the Ilmenau river. As far as I know none of the former municipalities had their own coat of arms.
