English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 30, 1960.

The upper half shows the arms of the Wittelsbach family, as electors and dukes of the Pfalz region, to which the village historically belonged. The lower half shows a mill wheel in the colours of the Pfalz. A mill was already mentioned in the village in 1437 and more water mills have been active in the area.

Literature: Debus, 1988
