German In Silber über grünem Schildfuß ein goldbewehrter roter Adler zwischen zwei durch einen Zinnenbogen verbundenen spitzbedachten, gezinnten, roten Rundtürmen mit je einem kleinen äußeren Wartturm, Dächer mit goldenen Knäufen.

Origin/meaning

The arms are based on the 14th century seals of the city and show the city itself, with the eagle of Brandenburg. The city was a possession of the Margraves of Brandenburg in medieval times.
