Geteilt; oben in Blau eine wachsende, rot bewehrte, goldene Gans mit ausgebreiteten Flügeln; unten in Silber über zwei blauen Wellen eine rote, gefugte Brücke.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 20, 1997.
The upper half shows a goose, as until the mid 1900s there were a lot of geese in the village, which were herded together around the village. The lower half symbolises the bridge over the Helbe river.
