In Silber auf grünem Dreiberg, belegt mit dem österreichischen Bindenschild, eine naturfarbene Tanne. Origin/meaningThe arms were granted in 1905. The pine tree is derived from the historical arms of the County Hauenstein, to which the village belonged. The base of the shield shows a small shield with the Austrian arms. The village was first mentioned in 1315 as a possession of the Dukes of Austria.
