State : Nordrhein-Westfalen
Incorporated into : 1972 Rhein-Erft Kreis
German |
Origin/meaningThe arms were granted on March 10, 1937. The arms show the lion of Jülich, as the main part of the district was owned by the counts of Jülich, holding a typical coal-mining pick-axe (Kohlenhacke). The tool represents the brown coal mining in the county, whereas the wheat-crown represents the agriculture. Contact and SupportPartners: Your logo here ?
