German | Geteilt; oben gespalten von Gold und Blau, vorne ein rot gezungter blauer Einhornrumpf, hinten der goldene Buchstabe K; unten in Silber ein rotes Andreaskreuz, das am Kreuzungspunkt mit einer rot bordierten goldenen Kugel belegt ist, darin ein rotes Doppelkreuz mit rotem Fußbalken.
Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on April 11, 1983. The arms show a letter K taken from the arms of the Kaisheim Abbey, as the abbey had many possessions in the area from 1269-1803. The unicorn has been used on the local seal of Tapfheim since the 16th century. Both symbols were already used by the municipality in the previous arms (see below).
