Geteilt von Blau und Rot durch ein überhöhten silbernen Sparren; unten ein silberner Amboss, darüber gekreuzt eine silberne Zange und ein silberner Hammer Origin/meaning The arms were granted on November 27, 1937. The arms show a smithy. Heiligenhaus belonged until 1897 to Velbert and has thus never had own seals or arms. The city has large iron industries, which are symbolised by the smithy.
