Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on December 21, 1912 with St. Lawrence as supporter behind the shield.
Hachen belonged until 1232 to the Counts of Dassel, from 1232-1368 to the Counts of Arnsberg and from 1368-1803 to the Bishops of Köln. The arms show the cross of Köln and the eagle of Arnsberg. The arms were granted in 1912 and were based on the image of the arms in a roll of arms from 1700.
