Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 15, 1975.
The point and the watch tower symbolise the Roman limes (border) that ran through the municipality. The music symbol is taken from the arms of Watzenborn-Steinberg. The oak refers to the forests in the municipality and was also part of some of the old arms.
