Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on January 13, 1983.
The division symbolises the two villages in the municipality. The oak leaves symbolise the forests in the municipality, whereas the wolf's hook is taken from the arms of the Uhrbrock family, who had many possessions in the village. The colours are derived from the colours of the arms of the former counts of Lauenburg.
