Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 10, 1955.
The arms show in the upper half the lion of the Hohenlohe family, and in the lower two glassblower's pipes. The arms refer to the glass factory that was founded by Adolf, Count of Nassau-Saarbrücken, which was named after his wife, the Countess of Hohenlohe-Gleichen. The jar refers to the village Krughütte, where Krug means jug or jar.
