English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 29, 1984.
The two black bars are taken from the arms of the Counts of Isenburg, who historically ruled over a large part of the area.
The linden branch symbolises the 6 municipalities that merged in the 1970s. The base symbolises the Bracht river, after which the municipality is named.
