Official blazon
In Rot ein schreitender silberner Ochse, über dessen Rücken eine fünfendige goldene Hirschstange schwebt.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted in 1910.
The oxen in the arms is a canting element, the old name was Orsenbach, or oxen-stream. The deer antler symbolises the Lords of Hirschberg-Strahlenberg, who ruled the village for many years (Hirsch=deer).
the composition is based on the oldest known seal of the village, dating from 1623. As no colours were known, the colours of Baden were used when the arms were granted in 1910.
