District (Kreis) : Main-Tauber Kreis (until 1973 Tauberbischofsheim)
Incorporated into : 1975 Lauda-Königshofen

In Blau eine rot-silbern gevierte Fahne an schräggestelltem goldenem Schaft, begleitet von drei (1:2) goldenen Großbuchstaben M.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on January 18, 1896, but in different colours. The above arms were adopted on February 19, 1964.
The arms are based on the seal of the village from 1777. The village belonged to the city of Lauda and used the arms with the banner of Würzburg of Lauda, with as difference three letter M instead of the three L's used by Lauda. The seal was in use until the mid 19th century. From 1850-1874 the village used a seal with only the text Marbach, from 1876-1895 with a bunch of grapes.
