Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on January 13, 1938.
The arms show the bar taken from the arms of the Counts of the Mark, who ruled the area in the medieval times. The Madonna is taken from the arms of the city of Neuenrade, the water-mill wheel symbolises the village of Dahle, as already in medieval times there were water-mills in the Nette in Dahle.
