Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on January 21, 1965.
The typical T(Tau)-cross and the bells are the symbol of St. Anthony, patron saint of the village. The lower half is derived from the arms of the Lords of Fürstenberg, who lived in the village since 1618, when the estate was bought by Dietrich von Fürstenberg Prince-Bishop of Paderborn.
