(de) In rot ein silberner, mit blauem Wellenschrägbalken belegter Schräglinksbalken, oben begleitet von der silbernen Giebelfront der Ahauser Kirche, unten von einem silbernen Wolfskopf über zwei gekreuzten silbernen Heidekrautzweigen.

The church is the local church, a typical landmark for the area. The bend refers to the many streams and rivers in the area, especially the Wümme, Ahauser Bach and Everser Bach. The wolf's head and the heather refer to the Wolfsgrund nature reserve in the municipality.
