In Silber drei blaue Pfähle, im Ganzen überdeckt mit einem schräglinken goldenen Wellenbalken. Origin/meaningThe arms are based on the arms of the Counts of Seinsheim. To distinguish the arms the wavy bend in the arms of the city is opposite to the bend in the arms of the family. The Counts of Seinsheim originated from the village in the 12th century. They gave the village town rights in 1434, but the town did not further develop into a city. The arms appear already on the oldest seal of the city, which is known since the late 16th century.
