OSTHOLSTEIN (OH)
State : Schleswig-Holstein
Additions : 1970 Eutin, Oldenburg
Origin/meaningThe arms were granted on July 30, 1971. The cross, mitre and gold and blue colours all symbolise the former State and diocese of Lübeck, as the bishops of Lübeck ruled most of the former district of Eutin. The castle is derived from the old Oldenburg district arms.
