PERSEBECK
State : Nordrhein-Westfalen
Incorporated into : 1920 Barop (1929 Dortmund)
German |
Origin/meaningThe arms were officially adopted in 2020. The oldest name of the village was Perricbeci, which was mentioned in 820. This means stream-of-sheep. Hence the sheep and the wavy bar in the arms. The bar also refers to the Persebecker Bach and the Grotenbach in the area. In 1300 the village consisted of a manor house and three farms. The three farm houses in the arms symbolise this. The golden field represents the wheat and rapeseed fields. Contact and SupportPartners: Your logo here ?
