Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 9, 1971.
The arms indicate that the village was historically part of the Pfalz region (lion). The crosier refers to the Disibodenberg Abbey, which had several possessions in the municipality. The wavy bar symbolises the Ohmbach river.
