Selected collector's items from Germany:

DETTENHAUSEN

State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Tübingen

Wappen von Dettenhausen/Arms (crest) of Dettenhausen
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on September 12, 1955.

The red deer in the lower part of the arms symbolises the Schönbuch area, known for its rich nature. The chief symbolises the nickname of the inhabitants, Gerstenkinder, or barley-children. Hence the chief shows an ear or barley.
