Origin/meaning
The arms were designed by the State Archives in 1928 and have been used by the municipality since 1930. The arms show a field ('Acker') and a rake. The meaning of the rake is not known, but was already used in the early 10th century seal of the village. It may have been an older village symbol as well. The colours are chosen arbitrarily.
