Origin/meaning

The arms show a black hill, symbolising the Jedutenberg in the municipality. The urn symbolises the historical grave-finds found in the mountain and surroundings. The base shows a wavy bar for the Weser river. The red wheel is described as a solar-wheel, but its significance is not mentioned.
