Origin/meaning

The arms show in the upper half the eagle derived from the arms of the Counts of Leiningen, who played a major role in the local history and lived in the local castle. The lower part shows a bunch of flowers, as a canting symbol (Blume=flower). Literature: Stadler, 1964-1971, 8 volumes.
